DOSE: Age 10 years and over: two doses at 0 and 6 months, or three doses at 0, 1–2 months and 6 months (for higher risk individuals ie. functional or anatomical asplenia (including sickle cell disease), persistent complement component deficiencies, complement inhibitor therapy (e.g. eculizumab, ravulizumab), microbiologists routinely exposed to Neisseria meningitidis, individuals at increased risk during a serogroup B meningococcal outbreak, and per the CDC, individuals desiring more rapid protection prior to university/college entry or similar settings) PROTECTION: Long-term, boosters may be recommended in high-risk groups. AVOID IF: Allergic to the vaccine or any of its components. ​
